Alexei Sitnikov

Sitnikov's responsibilities at the Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology include establishing an administrative structure, formulating and executing a financial model and budget, creating and developing the endowment, and establishing partnership networks. He was previously director for international development at the Skolkovo Foundation where he helped establish the Institute and created a network of partners.

Sitnikov graduated from Yaroslavl State University. He received a Master of Political Science (with distinction) from the Central European University in Budapest and a Master of Political Science from Stanford, where he also completed a Ph.D. program in Political Science. Sitnikov serves as advisor to the Governor of Kirov Region in Russia and is a member of the board of directors at the Russian Venture Company (RVC).
