The Global Innovator Competition

The Global Innovator Competition is GTS’ annual business plan competition, open to startup companies around the world seeking their “Series A” round of venture financing. The competition is juried by an esteemed panel of Silicon Valley venture investors.

Previous winners of the Global Innovator Competition include:

The Global Innovator Competition (GIC) is the business plan competition organized by the Global Technology Symposium (GTS), Silicon Valley’s leading annual conference on international venture capital and entrepreneurship.

GIC allows selected international startups to present to a panel of venture capital and financial leaders. GIC brings promising entrepreneurs – like you – from all over the world to present companies that will bring new products to market and transform industries. It’s easily the most energizing part of GTS!

This year’s competition will take place on October 26, 2017 (with preliminary rounds the day before) in San Francisco. Many more companies ask to pitch than we have slots available, so we ask you to fill out the short application form attached to narrow down the field. We will select 10 startups to complete based on one main criterion – level of industry disruption – no matter the industry, no matter the geography.

We search far and wide to identify startups promising across industries and regions. We hope you will join us on this venture! Welcome to #GIC2017!
